Description
Redland, a growth orientated and industry leading consulting firm providing Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Construction Management services to the development community, is seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Manager position.

The position will consist of the following duties:
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and updating of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations and overall business objectives.
  • Oversee employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
  • Lead in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) Paylocity.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, feedback, and performance appraisal evaluations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including coordinating with Practice Area Directors on workforce needs, posting job openings, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating interviews.
  • Facilitate the on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive integration into the organization.
  • Identify training needs and assist in the coordination of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Provide occasional administrative support to corporate leadership team members.
  • Assist with general office administration duties as needed.

Requirements
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum 8 years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles. Experience within a professional services environment or with an A/E industry company is a plus.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR or SPHR and SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate a well-rounded understanding of HR practices and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in an HRIS platform and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

$75,000 - $100,000 DOE Bonus Opportunities
